I am a trainee at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and a project director at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca (UASVM). I am also a PhD candidate in Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. My core competencies include data analysis, interdisciplinary and medical research.
At EFSA, I support the scientific opinion development for animal welfare, attend and participate in various meetings and workshops, and familiarize with EFSA's quality system and methodology. At UASVM, I lead a project on the assessment of the presence of the African Swine Fever virus on the surface of the bodies of synanthropic birds in the pig farming system. I also have experience as a junior lecturer, facilitating and conducting academic and field activities for veterinary students.
I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of veterinary medicine and animal health, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. I value collaboration, innovation, and quality, and I am eager to learn from and contribute to the organization's culture and goals.
