About Me

Entrepreneurship & Sustainability Support Foundation (JOIN4CS, ), is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, founded in 2017 in Greece, with the aim to support the development of rural and urban entrepreneurship by facilitating collaborations and synergies among stakeholders from the public sector, the business sector, the research and academic community and the civil society at a national and an international level in the field of innovation in ICT, sustainable tourism, education, civil society, energy and environment. Currently JOIN4CS implements 5 interregional cooperation programmes aiming to organize the business ecosystem in regional level, to develop new digital tools to assist the energy transition of their organisations and businesses, to train the local SME’s on how to follow sustainability principles and become competitive. 

JOIN4CS focuses more to build-up capacities on sustainability principles and how businesses, public organisations, educational institutes could  incorporate them into their daily business and how they could enhance their services by shifting to more environmental and social friendly practices and  would like to build-up their capacities in new digital tools, learn how to improve the visibility of their firms and how to efficiency use new channels of dissemination, (e.g. social media) to promote better their businesses and services offered. 

JOIN4CS promotes the energy transition of the local economy (Region of Western Macedonia belongs to the energy transition regions transforming the lignite mining and power plant based economy to renewables and new energy technologies focus mostly to hydrogen, to cover the energy mix of the country)  through the promotion of Citizens Energy Communities at regional level and the participation in exchange visits promoted by JTF (Just Transition Funds) mechanism among the energy transition regions in Europe.
