Pannon Philharmonic - Pécs Nonprofit Ltd.
Looking for Partnership Looking for Extra EU Funds
Pannon Philharmonic is the resident orchestra of the Kodály Centre in Pécs, Southern Hungary, a concert hall with exceptional acoustics on European scale.
Led by an energetic management team, the ensemble has become Hungary’s only symphonic orchestra tripling its audience, making it a dominant orchestra and brand of the country.
Since 2010, Pannon Philharmonic has been a resident orchestra of the Kodály Centre, a concert hall with outstanding acoustics built in the framework of the Pécs2010 European Capital of Culture project. The orchestra has not only met success in Pécs; they have had a series of sold-out performances in Budapest at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall since the opening of Müpa, and performs regularly in Musikverein, Vienna. Under the baton of Chief Conductor Tibor Bogányi the orchestra aims to widen its international network and to look for new opportunities.
