Marta P. Alves
Marta Pereira Alves is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology and Education of University of Beira Interior (UBI), Covilhã, Portugal. She has a PhD degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and a Master degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from ISCTE- University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal). Her current research interests include group dynamics, social network analysis, virtual work, health psychology, and psychometrics. She participates as researcher in different national and international projects [e.g., Erasmus+ projects in the field of young volunteering (C2C Project – 2017-1-PT02-KA205-004070) and social entrepreneurship (SPEED Project – 602644-EPP-1-2018-1-IT-EPPKA2-CBY) and nationally funded projects, for example about the impact of higher education institutions on the quality of life of their regions (U-Value Project – FCT PTDC/EGE-OGE/29926/2017)]. She has been responsible for the training of curricular and professional internships in several organizational and community contexts and she is also involved in social intervention projects, representing UBI in several partnerships. She is currently the coordinator of CFIUTE - Training Centre and Interaction UBI-Corporate Sector, responsible for the training of entrepreneurs, public and private sector workers, employees and students of UBI. She is a researcher at NECE-UBI (Research Centre in Business Sciences) and she is author and a co-author of scientific papers published in books and journals. Her work has been published in international journals.
