Orme Radio/Tracce Nascoste is a versatile and multidisciplinary organization encompassing a wide range of expertise and intervention areas.
The organization have been started in 2014 as a collect effort of young people in creating something special with the vision of creating a safe and inspiring space for multidisciplinary artistic and cultural expression, A place where to gather with other people and share interests and passions. A place where to make one voice heard with the use of media like radio broadcating, online streaming and social network. Today orme radio is a web-radio, an organization operating at European level, working on local level with municipality and school in creating cultural projects aimed to the empowerment and self-develoment of youngsters.
Central to our mission is the promotion of media literacy, effective communication, digital innovation, artistic expression and content creation. We believe in providing opportunities for individuals to develop skills in public speaking, self-publishing, music, and theater, thereby equipping them with tools for personal and professional growth. Through our collaborative efforts, we strive to create meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of young people and contribute to the cultural fabric of our communities.
Our biggest results are:
-The web-radio itself, streaming 24/7 since January 2015, with over 1.000 podcast episodes produced, 100+ speakers, 60+ radio shows since then.
-Germogli festival: a annual festival focused on childhood's topics with creative workshops dedicate to children (5-12 yo), organized by the municipality of Empoli
-OrmeAcademy: a project we bring to the high schools in the frame of the civic education school program, delivering 10-hours workshops for each class and allowing the students to create a radio show of 1 hour streamed live on our webradio and let them to be able to express themselves on the topic they choose. Until now more than 600 students (16-17 y.o.) participated to this project
-BeatFestival: for 6 years we have been media partners of the biggest summer event in Empoli, managing the second biggest stage of the festival with over 100.000 people participating each year.
