About Me
PEFC International is a standard-setting organisation, working towards the protection of the forests in the EU and globally by promoting sustainable forest management through forest certification. With a long-standing expertise of 25 years in promoting sustainability objectives on the ground, the rigorous procedures in place ensure that all requirements are applied diligently in PEFC-certified forests covering almost 300.000 ha across the world.
As the EU Office, we follow up on and communicate about relevant EU Forest Policy and represent PEFC in different stakeholder activities/groups.
We are currently active in the following projects as stakeholders: ForBioMon, ForestPaths and SuperB.
