Association „Mesta Valley “ appears a non-profit organization, which is registered at the Central register of the Ministry of Justice as an association in public favor. The organization operates on a regional level and comprises geographically the municipalities along the river valley of Mesta. The main goals of the Association are connected with reaching of dynamic, qualitative and sustainable development of the civil society and culture, engineering and technologies, establishment of the spiritual values and personal realization as well as environment protection in the region, which on administrative principle comprises the territories of the following municipalities: Bansko, Belitsa, Gotse Delchev, Gurmen, Razlog, Satovcha, Hadzhidimovo, Yakoruda. The association implements a new model of partnership between the public authorities, business and the civil organizations by using the approach of a local development, led by the community.
For reaching the intended purposes the organization develops and implements a multi-sector program– strategy for integrated development of the region in accordance with its specific needs and potential for development.
The association initiates discussions and implements initiatives together in partnership with the local authorities and the business as well as with the other NGO in South-West Bulgaria and the country.
