About Me

Full professor at Universitat Politècnica de Caralunya. My research mainly focuses on the numerical simulation of complex flows such as those that can be encountered in urban flows, aerodynamics and heat transfer applications. This simulation involves turbulent flows with separations, reattachment, transition to turbulence, and fluid-structure interaction.

Currently we are working on projects related with high fidelity simulations and the application of machine learning and data driven techniques for flow control applied to aeronautical applications as well as for the prediction of heat stress scenarios in urban environments.
