Foundation "Science and Innovation Park"
Looking for Partnership
The foundation "Zinātnes un inovāciju parks" has been
successfully operating since 2012.
The team has experience in the implementation of non-formal
education, technology, innovation and sustainability projects,
and attracting funding from different financial sources.
Our goal is to promote the development of knowledge and
economy by innovations and different project activities with
youth.
The main activities include:
- Developing opportunities for pupils and youth;
- Cooperating with different types of organizations, NGO’s, and
self-employed persons;
- Cooperating with schools and universities;
- Offering traineeship opportunities to youth ages 18-29;
- Securing financial sources for projects;
- Providing high quality printable and digital materials for
projects and personal use;
- Providing IT solutions to projects.
The foundation has carried out multiple projects nationally:
- 4 Erasmus+ Solidarity projects (aimed to ease the youth
transition to the work environment):
“Learn. Think. Create.”,
“Learn. Think. Improve.”,
“Learn. Think. Develop”,
“KAS-TE, ES-TE”.
- “Dienasgrāmatas” (“Diaries”) - this project offers every
school to have a specific design diaries for their pupils.
- “Mana zeme skaistā” (“My beautiful country”) - this project
involved young pupils to strengthen their feelings of
belonging in this world.
Also the foundation has been a partner in different EU financed
projects, like:
- Erasmus+ Small-scale partnership project “Blue economy”,
which is aimed to introduce young people to the ecosystem of
water and technologies and institutions who work towards
water sustainability. Through this project partners create
workshops for youth regarding the situation of water in their
own countries and help them design a business plan to tackle
the ongoing issues regarding water.
- Erasmus+ Large-scale partnership project “Green.
E.Th.I.Cs.”, which is a sustainability project aimed at cultural
organizations, through which a game with three options
(performance, digital, and as a board game) is developed to
help people learn how they can help the environment.
Additionally, our foundation specifically developed
methodological guidelines for sustainable organization
management and creation of events.
