About Me

I specialize in image theory and serve as a consultant in artistic-cultural project design for both public and private sectors, with a Ph.D. in Aesthetic Philosophy. Alongside my tenure with the University of Milan from 2014 to 2019, I independently coordinated projects aimed at the valorization of historical photographic archives, a commitment that extended beyond my academic collaboration.

In 2021, I organized "Apparent Void," a public art event endorsed by the Milan Municipality, drawing together the city's leading theaters and cinemas for a collective cultural endeavor. In 2023, I served as the Scientific Director for "Cabaret Vienna: The Manassé Atelier" at the Mart, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, a role reflecting my dedication and expertise.

My scholarly contributions include:

  • "A Brief History of a Nameless Photograph" in "Photography: Themes and Problems," Mimesis Editions, 2019;
  • "Still Image: Art, Life, and the Photography Market," where I was both author and editor, Mimesis Editions, 2017;
  • "Photography is Magic," overseeing the Forum section in "Lebenswelt: Aesthetics and Philosophy of Experience," issue no. 9, 2016.
