RESEARCH PRACTICE
ESA-SUVDET
One of the innovative solutions currently being developed by the embedded team in partnership with the Institute of Space Science in Magurele, is a laboratory prototype for a photodetector that can track and record optical phenomena in space and the upper atmosphere, in a project for the European Space Agency (ESA) funded by the PRODEX program, coordinated nationally by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA). The project is a first for the European area, the innovation consisting of using a new type of sensor that can be used to detect the optical phenomena in space, in wavelengths UV (ultraviolet). With the technology validation from this prototype, Zitec plans the specialization on photodetector technologies and the takeover in the future of larger projects, of production of devices for outer space.
Zidox - The innovative human resource management platform
Zidox is a SaaS solution which integrates all HR-specific functions and enables the specialists to be more effective by getting insight from and measuring impact on all employees and is funded by European Reginal Development Fund. Zidox is covering all areas of interest for HR: admin, payroll, OD, recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance, engagement. It provides means of automation for recurrent tasks in each category and gathers insights from all categories or groups of categories. Highly user-centric with a self-service approach, enables role-based empowerment, automated and customizable workflows, customized reports, BI insights, integrates all HR modules into one solution. Latest technologies used in development, latest design trends for UI, integration with widely spread software, open architecture (exposed APIs for future development based on existing architecture).
