Yatus Foundation is Bulgarian non-profit organization working for the preservation and promotion of cultural and natural heritage but has huge capacity and resources related to strategic planning, project managment and expertise in regional development
Expertise in preservation of cultural heritage:
The Foundation works actively for the search, preservation, conservation, restoration and socialization of cultural monuments in the North Central Planning Region in Bulgaria. The Foundation carries out activities related to the promotion of the Roman cultural heritage within the region. It has participated in many informational campaigns and it has created more than 50 pcs of electronic materials to promote cultural heritage.
The members of the Council of the foundation are highly trained in the field:
- Dr. Volodya Popov is the Director of Pleven Regional Museum and has more than 30 realized publications about cultural and natural heritage.
- Dimitar Marinov has graduated "History and Archeology" in Veliko Tarnovo university and has valuable expertise in the preparation and management of European projects and as an ex-regional governor. Currently he works as a project ;
- Mira Radkova is ex-deputy Minister of Labor and Social ;
The foundation has created 12 Municipial development plans and 2 regional plans, including the one of Ruse ;
Expertise in the field of project management and strategic planning:
The members of the Foundation have managed 22 projects under the Bulgarian operational programs "Human Resources", "Open Competitiveness", "Regional Development", Rural Development Program as well as they were project coordinators in projects for INTERREG IPA Cross-border Cooperation Bulgaria - Turkey Program;
