About Me

Company Tekstina is SME and is a privately managed company with around 75 people. Operates in one location in Ajdovscina in Slovenia with in-house research & development, design, testing, and manufacturing facilities.  Production facilities include a warping, weaving, and finishing plant with highly qualified specialists for dyeing, chemical treatment, and finishing. Last year we invest in a new printing house with roto screen and digital printing machinery.

The company management system is certified to ISO environment standards and the occupational health and safety norm. Products are certified under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

Tekstina is the leading supplier of textile solutions for fabrics. Our innovative, customer-focused approach ensures that we can design, develop, test and deliver a wide variety of fabrics across Europe to many of the world's leading companies.. Company has two divisions:

TECH

We have been working   on 2 projects HORIZON 2020( 2015-2018)  about recycling textile waste and producing new sustainable products, technologies ; TRASH-2 CASH and RESYNTEX:   

 

In November 2017 we started with a new project  NanoTextSurf by Horizon2020  about applying nano-cellulose on different materials for different application areas.Our goal in this project is about applying screen printing technology nano-cellulose on flame retardant protective fabric and to improve the mechanical properties of the products. (

 

We also have a new project on recycling cellulose TEXTILE from textile waste,   which will start in October 2020 -short name NEW COTTON ( HORIZON 2020).
