Technology Park Ljubljana (TPLJ) is one of the leading national stakeholder in the development of innovative knowledge-based entrepreneurship and digital circular transformation in Slovenia. TPLJ is an innovative technology community (with more than 300 companies as members) that brings together entrepreneurs, creatives, innovators and researchers. The community of more than 1,500 professionals works in the fields of ICT, circular economy, health, creativity and development of smart and digital technologies.

Mission of Technology Park is a business support organization that promotes the growth and development of technology stories, projects and companies. The goal is to create a sustainable and better world by incorporating technology, knowledge and creativity.

At the same time, TPLJ will incorporate the knowledge, experts, community and tools to be developed within the ACCA project into the planning and development of the new building.

TPLJ will also include XR Lab into ACCA - a laboratory for virtual and augmented reality, and a laboratory for the development of smart and digital systems, which will provide community support and an accelerator for new sustainable solutions, as an innovative hub for regional and transregional networking and international cooperation of experts. It is a founding member of Edih DIGISi, Data trust Blockchain DIH, within which it participates in the implementation of blockchain technologies in the field of smart cities and communities, and the management of materials and waste materials through the use of blockchain technologies.

In connection with the development and implementation of S3, TPLJ significantly contributes in three strategic partnerships for the development of innovation, namely the Strategic Partnership for the Circular Economy, the Partnership for Smart Cities and Communities and the Factory of the Future (industrial transformation) Partnership .

The Technology Park played an important role in the development of the policies of the Slovenian S3 smart specialization strategy and also helped to establish it in Montenegro.

The key motivation of TPLJ is further development and integration of ACCA concepts in all national initiatives, such as recovery and development projects, as well as involvement in the preparation of various action plans and strategies with quadruple helix to support the ecosystem of circular economy stakeholders and the creative sector through EU projects such as Circular4.0 (Interreg AS), Smart Space (Interreg AS), Diva (Interreg IT-SI), Sache (Interreg CE).

The team of Technolgy Park Ljubljana, which has approx 15 members, has been developing innovative technological solutions, conducting various trainings and events for more than 25 years. TPLJ has implemented over 30 national and international projects in 2014-20.

One of the main focuses of TPLJ is also internationalization and cooperation with international partners and experts. TPLJ is also a member of the IASP (international science park association) and the Center for Creativity, which operates under the auspices of the Museum of Architecture and Design.

TPLJ was established by the Municipality of Ljubljana, as well as institutes and technology companies and operates as a not-for-profit organization to support companies. Revenues from economic activities are generated mainly by renting out real estate, a smaller part is generated by consulting and technological services.
