Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. is a non-profit association based in Dresden dedicated to Education, Culture, and Arts. The association aims to enrich the culture and the art scene of the city of Dresden by promoting diversity, understanding, inclusion, acceptance, and mutual respect through the implementation of long-term projects and cultural events such as art exhibitions, performances, cultural festivals, film screenings, music concerts and presentations of cultural and art projects, art products and innovative outputs that support culture and the arts. Furthermore, JKPeV aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of young people and adults as well as trainers, youth workers, and educators through innovative European educational projects based on non-formal learning methods that develop our target groups' soft and digital skills. The educational projects we run are focused on youth work, adult education, and training. We hold training courses, seminars, and workshops on-site and online, on various topics: personal development and well-being, social- green- and creative entrepreneurship, CCSs and cultural heritage, environment and sustainability, remembrance and human rights, filmmaking (documentaries, short films, animation films etc.), photography and graphic design, social media and digital learning. We are currently running Erasmus+ projects on the aforementioned topics (sustainable fashion, green entrepreneurship and permaculture, well-being and mental health of young people and young disadvantaged people, the use of plastic and ways to reduce its use, crowdfunding etc. and a CERV project on European Jewish History: We follow all EACEA calls and HORIZON calls on culture, arts, citizenship, human rights, and education. We cooperate with various institutions; from public institutions such as Universities, Museums, Municipalities, Cultural Centres, and Youth Centres to private youth, culture, education, and cultural organisations, SMEs, start-ups, foundations, human rights and remembrance associations.
