I am a graduate in Environmental Sciences and I have a PhD in Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Science, Geology and Environment at the University of Murcia. I have a Master in Recovery of Polluted Soil and another on Prevention of Occupational Risks.
I have worked for more than eight years in the CEBAS-CSIC in the Department of Soil and Water Conservation and Management Organic Waste (CEBAS-CSIC), my research topic was focused on the phytoremediation of heavy metals polluted soils with Lupinus albus and Noccaea caerulescens. Later, I worked in the Department of Biology of Stress and Plant Pathology as Post-doc. Where I was conducting studies in the framework of the research project of excellence "The identification of biological determinants of abiotic stress tolerance and final quality of the fruit species of agricultural interest." Within this research project my work was focused on pea, alfalfa and Arabidopsis thaliana plants and their response to salt stress.
At present, I am working in the Department of Environmental Engineering at UCAM as Post-doc. I am developing research projects about the determination of pharmaceutical compounds, antibiotics, resistant bacterias and genes in water and other environmental matrices.
