IDESCA (Institute of Social Studies for Change) is a non-profit association focused on supporting organisational change, public policies, socioemotional well-being and social participation. Our scope is centered in the design processes, educational plans, happiness research and improvement of labour and social relationships.
Our primary target is to facilitate governmental, non-governmental and private organisations, professional skills to reach change, improvement and transformation. Aspects such as women participation in society, youth entrepeneurship, citizenship and social participation, creativity against unemployment, sustainable development, relationship between public policies and happiness for social change are in the centre of our professional performance.
In order to carry out our mission we count with a profesional social science network of Sociologists, Psycologists, Lawers, Teachers and Labour Advisors, more than 20 years of experience in social projects, sociological research and social commitment.
We have coordinated an important project in Latin America, developing a social-industrial sustainable envoironmental company (recycling plastics) to improve iquality and social development. In the last 5 years, we have been giving technical advice to Local Government in order to create coordination structures in rural areas to improve women participation, social opportunities and gender equality. We have been collaborating in educational programmes for Citizenship participation (FABZ) during the last 4 years. During 2012-15 we also participated in youth projects against discrimination and Labour (Youth in Action Programme) and colaborated in TOI, Leonardo and others.
