AIM (Association of Intercultural Mediators) was born as a start-up of the European project "SOS family assistance: European strategies for vocational training and job mobility" (ref. Erasmus + 2016-1-IT01-KA202-005376) which provided for the training, with the issue of a recognised professional qualification at the end, as intercultural mediators of people from different nations (Italy, Spain and Romania) on the themes of European employment mobility, with particular attention to the mobility of Romanian women to Italy and Spain. The same project involved the construction of a web portal that would connect the demand for work (Romanian women) and the job offer (Italian and Spanish families); the Association plays a mediating role placing itself above the parties and ensuring fairness in the work relationship created.
AIM operates in the field of listening and orientation towards training and work paths, intercultural mediation and in the helping relationship.
AIM has the mission to work in the field of social integration policies aimed at young people and vulnerable people, guaranteeing opportunities for youth exchange and informal and non-formal education, with a view to European citizenship.
In 2019 he won a KA1 (Ref: 2019-1-RO01-KA104-062852 Inclusion through entrepreneurship) in Romania and is partner in a KA2 project (Ref. 2019-1IT02-KA204-063378 Bike Stop) for the Cooperativa Sociale Il Faro (ITA).
