“Together in Europe” is a project of organization Brave phone. The project will take place in Children’s House Borovje- a programm of organization that deals with prevention of unacceptable behaviour and protection of mental health of children and youth in local community. Project will last for 20 months and it will include 1 volunteer. Service of volunteer will last for 12 months. EVS volunteer will participate in preparing and implementing the workshops for children in cooperation with local volunteers and in helping and preparing events of the organization. EVS volunteer will have a chance to participate in work of an NGO. Ideas, capacity and engagement of volunteer will directly affect the life quality of children and youth in local community. Cooperation with local volunteers will arise the tolerance and communication between young people from different countries of Europe.It will encourage them to participate in Erasmus+ programme and similar programmes that offer young people experiental learning, travelling and getting to know other cultures all over the EU. This project will arise the awareness of young people about their role as active citizens and a sense for global solidarity. Through the workshops of art and culture children will learn to be tolerant towards people from other countries with different cultures and languages. It will encourage children to travel and to meet other cultures. Local community will get informations about the possibilities of young people in EU and Erasmus+ programme and also will learn about the culture, language and customes of one of the EU country. The project will diminish stereotypes about people from diferent cultures among the members of local community.
