The project „Foreign apprenticeship a key to success on a labour market” is a response to the needs of Zespół Szkół Zawodowych students in Racibórz. The students are trained in the following specialities: nutrition and catering services technician, hotelier technician, tourist service technician and laboratory analyst technician. Students are trained in full time in Technical School Nr3 , included in the ZSZ.There will be 36 third class students who will take part in the project and they will go in two groups of 18 students along with their 2 teachers on a one month foreign vocational training to Granada, Adalusia in the south of Spain from 30th April till 27th May2016 and from 1st October till 28th October 2016.The length of the training results from the technical school curriculum in the 3rd class and it is adequate to achieve the desired objectives. The Partnership Organization is Europroyectos Leonardo da Vinci, a Spanish company, which bounded itself to the choice of host institutions according to the professional profile of the participants. The main aim of the project is the improvement of the quality of vocational training, the increase of educational and vocational mobility of the students, the growth of personal and linguistic competences of the participants.The project meets the needs of our school which are: the increase of the attractiveness, gaining prestige and the growth of competitiveness on the educational market, improvement of the recruitment results thanks to the broadening of the educational offer of foreign apprenticeship. Establishing international cooperation which will be a beneficial aspect the foreign apprenticeship fulfills one of the objectives of the European Development Plan of our institution.The specific aims of the project are:-providing the students with the possibility of rising their vocational competences, gaining new abilities and qualifications-gaining valuable vocational experience, which will allow young people become more competitive on a labour market rising their chances of employment-comparing the training in the country and abroad, meeting new technologies and methods of work-rising the level of the linguistic skills and personal development-expanding their horizonsThe students have been chosen through a clear and fair recruitment. All the participants will take part in a linguistic, pedagogical and cultural preparation. They will take part in a 30-hour English language course focused on vocational vocabulary, 30-hour Spanish language course with some elements of history, geography and the culture of Spain. There will also be a 10-hour course aimed at pedagogical preparation of the students. The course will include interpersonal communication, negotiating, dealing with stress that would help the participants find themselves in a foreign culture.Students are provided with the flight, accommodation, food, insurance and some cultural activities. The places of training have been chosen and the program of the training have been worked out together with our Partnership Organization.Assessment will also be conducted during the whole project. It will check the level of the achieved aims of the program and define the week sides of the project. The effects of the foreign apprenticeship will be:1.Hard results:-the European Mobility document that confirms the participants’ vocational competences-a certificate issued by the foreign companies that will host the students-a certificate confirming preparation in the Erasmus+ program-English and Spanish language courses certificates-vocational training grade2. Soft results:-growth of vocational qualifications that would increase the chances of finding a job-increase of the knowledge and the competences level during the exchange of experience-making the students aware of the mobility benefits-shaping entrepreneurship and creativity-increase of confidence, belief in your own possibilitiesThe results of the project for the school:-increase of quality and attractiveness of vocational training-gaining some experience by the headmaster and the accountant that will be useful for writing other projectsThere will be some dissemination activities aiming at sharing the results of the project:-organizing a summarizing conference during which the gastronomic technical school students will display the skills acquired during the training in a form of a treat, and the students from some other specialities are going to prepare a multimedia presentation with a personal description of their impressions and experiences from the training.- developing a set of recipes typical for the andalusian region of Spain- during the Education Fair, School Open Days in our institution a multimedia presentation will be shown and leaflets will be given out. They would give information about our students foreign apprenticeship in Spain. There will be some articles in the media and on our school website.
