Youth Network MaMa is in cooperation with National Youth Council of Slovenia proposing a project of structural dialogue named “Za družbene spremembe - For social change”. The project aims to enable young people to actively participate in the process of structured dialogue with local decision -makers. Through project we want to encourage young people to start thinking about tolerance and tolerance towards youngsters with fewer opportunities and refugees. This aims to help young people to acquire skills that will support them in developing active and responsible role in society, at the levels of the labour market, in social interaction and in the wider decision -making.Topics that will be captured in the project “For social change” are:- Promoting tolerance (especially through the involvement of local youth centres in campaigns that are connected with current situation of migrants);- Encouraging young people to be active in civil society;- Support for youngsters in enhancing employability competencies to reduce unemployment among young people.Defined themes are directly corresponding to 5th cycle of structured dialogue in EU that takes place between January 2016 and June 2017, following the principle of "Providing opportunities for all young people to participate in the creation of diverse, cohesive and inclusive Europe, and thus prepare for life and participation in society."Two approaches were chosen for the implementation of the project are: the methods of youth work and guerrilla marketing.Objectives:- To train/inform youth workers about the importance of the process of structural dialogue- To enable youth workers in the use of advanced, innovative and guerrilla techniques to actively involve young people in society (focusing on integration of deaf youngsters)- To arise competences of youngsters that enable them to actively participate in society- To establish a stakeholder analysis on local levels and actively involve local community youth councils in the process- To acquaint young people with the possibility of including in the project Week of youth centres and to stimulate their active participation- To organize a national conference with aim of confronting youngsters and national policy makers on the topic of tolerance as part of positive social change- To create a workbook as a tool to monitor the actions - To promote youth sector and youth centres The project will take place in several stages:- Selection of topical themes and approaches (a set of ideas and analysis of the terrain)- Training for youth workers “For social change”- Local conference “For social change”- National conference and media campaign “For social change”- Evaluation eventThe entire project will involve at least 15 local communities in which concrete action to improve the situation of young people is expected. At the national level, the project will present the practices of local communities and at the same time provoke national decision -makers to prepare a suitable environment for young people's living conditions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the media campaign through which we want to use positive social criticism as a way to inform citizens about the existence and purpose of youth centres and youth sector in the broader sense.The project will in a period of six months actively involve at least 535 youngsters; next to them will involve local youth associations and other organizations, municipalities, decision -makers at local and national level, companies, other relevant offices and ministries, educational institutions and the general public. The final range of sharing information about concrete actions taken as a result of this project is 40,000.
