The project called “The mathematical circle ” is a project of schools from Poland, Turkey, Italy and Hungary. The main aim of the project is to create a program based on intercultural experience. Each partner school has its own good practices that will be shared with the partners.
During the project the exchange of experience and sharing partner countries’ customs and traditions (such as history lessons, craft, traditional dishes, traditional dances) will develop the tolerance towards other cultures and nationalities. The students will respect and appreciate the diversity and similarities of different European countries. They will be more opened to internationalization and globalization and they will improve their communication skills. The teachers will experience new teaching methodologies and improve teaching skills by learning from the partner schools. The partner schools will create an intercultural program that will be shared with other Internet users on the project website.
The cooperation between the partners has started before the submission of the application. The partners contacted by phone and by email to develop the main ideas of the project. The partners have planned 8 mobilities during the project, project management, budget control, time management, the project's activities and results evaluation, handling project risks, the dissemination of the project results, the activities and results that will be maintained after the end of the EU funding.
The working methods that will be used during the project include workshops, seminars, observations, discussions, brainstorming, visits, analysis of activities and analysis of documents.
The impact of the project will be visible through the use of an innovative program in partner institutions, as well as in other schools. It will allow students to prepare activities that will bring positive results for the European society today. Long term benefits will be seen in the activities of the people who are students today and in the future will have a real impact on the European cooperation, partnership and integration.
