This is mainly a problem for the young population that, instead of having a proper environment for personal and social development, they deal with poverty, social exclusion and unemployment. One of the priorities of the European Union was to inspire and assist the European citizens to be active entrepreneurs developing social and civic spirit. And this civic spirit can generally grow only on a foundation of a certain degree of individual socio-economic well-being.
The origin of our project was revealed by the socio-economical context of the countries in which the youngsters mentioned above are living. The idea of realizing in this project came after several discussions we had had with youngsters from our organization and also with our partners, youth organizations with which we created the partnerships.
This project aimed to fulfill the need of both the youngsters and the youth workers in their organizations, to get the necessary skills that could help them in their personal and social development. So, in this way they were e able to know and apply methods and instruments that could make possible the exit from the shadow cone of the socio-economical difficulties that enhance social exclusion and unemployment.
