"Youth Worker Development" is a project that aims to provide support, training, experience and knowledge to members of organizations working with young people / youth (youthworkers / project managers) regarding the proper, effective and efficient management of international and local programs / actions for young people.
The plan will involve 6 different countries from both EU Member States and non-EU members. Overall 26 people will participate in the project for a period of seven days. Participants will be individuals who work or will work in organization and have / will have direct involvement with the design and implementation of local and international projects for young people (youthworkers, trainers / facilitators and project managers).
Participants will be trained in managing conflicts, individuals, groups, resources, time and results and exchange good practices, approaches, tools, tactics and techniques.
You will learn new / multiple ways, tools and techniques for successful management, implementation and design of local and international youth programs, which will help develop their skills, their skills, increase their knowledge and experiences.
The main tool / method of the project’s implementation will be the use of non-formal and informal learning through which participants will gain effective methods, tactics, tools and knowledge that will be provide to them through this training .
The activities to be implemented includes role playing activities, development and resolution scenarios (case studies), evaluation, communication and reproductive strategies (communication and multiplication strategies), team building activities, group activities (teamwork activities), exchange of experiences / techniques / tools and creating tools for effective and efficient planning and management of local and international programs for young people.
After the completion of the project, participants will have received the necessary knowledge, experience, education and tools which will enable them to design and implement projects for young people. The exchange of experiences, tools and methods among the participants, the training they will receive from their instructors during the training (training) as well as new tools that will be created (by the participants in collaboration with the instructors), will contribute to implementation aims mentioned above.
Through this program, several organizations and participants will have experienced and trained staff to design and implement effective regional and international projects for young people. This will be done through the proper dissemination and exploitation of project’s results. Main beneficiaries of the project are the participants themselves, as they will get the necessary knowledge and experience and develop their skills and abilities. This will enable them to become more effective and eventfully some of them might be employed in organizations that deal with young people..
Our organization will try to organize local workshops and conferences to disseminate the project’s results to other organizations and individuals who work with young people through a vast network of partners, and disseminate the project’s results to other countries in order to succeed a European or even an international impact of the results of the project.
In the long term, organizations can implement best programs for youth, will have better trained staff and young people will benefit from better quality programs. Participants (people) will be able to utilize the knowledge gained for advanced and efficient work, while some will be able to get employed in organizations that implement projects for young people.
