We regularly post pictures, comments, opinions and other personal information on sites like Facebook and Twitter, but how safe is it for our reputation?
Recruiters and human-resource professionals report that their companies require them to do research about candidates, and many use a wide range of sites when scrutinizing applicants — including search engines, social-networking sites, photo and video sharing sites, blogs etc.
Studies in this area show that companies reject 1 in 10 people between ages 16 and 34 because of something the person posted on a social media site.
Our aim is to raise awareness of social medias impact to youth employment in the project partner areas.
