Sports federations in Jämtland-Härjedalen, Västernorrland and Gävleborg, together with the organization BRYR in Ireland carried out a preparatory visit (APV) in Ireland in September -15 and two youth exchanges (Ireland October -15 and Sweden in February -16). Together we had applied for a further three activities, but has now decided to close the project prematurely because it is too time-consuming for organizations to plan and implement youth exchanges on the basis of the resources obtained. The youth exchanges (activities) carried out has been very successful and implemented according to the application submitted. We have been working for a high level of youth participation in both planning and implementation, which has been sucessfull..The targetgroup for exchanges have been young people with different backgrounds and different conditions, evaluations show that we wanted: young people who have learned more about themselfes, others and other people's cultures and experiences, leadership and to lead themselves and last but not least, new friends for life and created new networks. Participating organizations are proud of the young people's commitment and are delighted to have help participants own development.
