Youth Advocating for Social Inclusion Policies

The project Youth Advocating for Social Inclusion Policies will support mobility of 22 European youth workers for the purpose of improving youth policy and social inclusion in the field. The project is composed of 3 key activities: two individual motilities (observation period in youth organization) and training course for youth workers on the topic of advocacy and social inclusion. The project will support learners to learn about basis of advocacy, creating campaigns and effectively to influence public policies especially in the field of social inclusion. The main aim is to develop competences of youth workers to develop and implement effective advocacy actions and foster social cohesion in their local communities and filed of work. The training will raise the capacity of partner organizations in the field of advocacy and lobbying by helping them to better understand social transformation and advocacy principles in order to plan and deliver effective advocacy processes. All of the project activities will take place in Brussels, Belgium, hosted by the ‘Out of the Box International’ The project includes 16 organisations from 16 European Countries (Macedonia, Bulgaria, Check Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey) Project final outcomes are : booklet on advocating for inclusive youth policies and public round table with representatives of European Institutions relevant for the youth field.
