”Young Travellers - Equity" is a youth exchange in Äänekoski, Finland. The main topics are ”Youth (Participation, Youth Work, Youth Policy)”, ”Inclusion – equity” and ”Creativity and culture”. There is also an Advance Planning Visit in this project.The youth exchange lasts 11 days in total. The countries taking part are Finland and Spain. The total amount of participants is 37. Many youngsters in both groups have weak language skills, so the program is based on non-formal learning and learning by doing. We have different kind of workshops, study visits and games. The focus in on cultural differences, equity and youth - creativity exists in the way we go through these subjects. The goal is to make the youngsters understand the meaning of equity in their own lives as well as in a larger scale, and to make them see their possibilities to impact to the world around them. One aim is also to get to know the other culture and to understand the differences and similiarities. By adding the knowledge about another culture we increase the tolerance and respect towards other people. Aim is also to socially reinforce the youngsters who are taking part in the project. We do evaluation during the exchange by talking and with dynamic activities.The project is a follow-up for a project "Young Travellers - Emotions" that took place with these two partner groups in the summer 2015.
