Through a ten–month training of project management in the form of a correspondence course in English, including lessons in general, strategic, human and project management related to generating, planning and realising projects the projects aims to enable 10 agile professional young people with a permanent address in Nagykanizsa and 10 from Medjimurje county to move back to their hometowns.With the gained knowledge, the participants will be prepared to play an active role in developing local economy, generating, planning and managing projects in different economic sectors, besides having the suitable abilities/skills and competencies necessary for building widespread domestic and international connections after the project. Achievements: Aiming at keeping the young, educated local people in their communities or attracting them back after their studies outside of their home towns, the project supported 10 young graduates from Nagykanizsa and 10 of their colleagues from Međimurje County in participating in a joint post-graduate course about project management. After the fi nalisation of the course, these young people will infl uence the development of their communities by playing a signifi cant role in developing, generating and implementing projects in various fields of the public and private sector.
