In a time, which is marked by a deep rift between the EU member states, growing nationalism and extensive lack of solidarity for poeple in distress, especially refugees, it is more important than ever before to return to the values of the European Union, to fight for them and to live them: respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality and constitutionality. Together with young people from different European countries we will, via creative methods such as video, theatre or digital learning badges, European values discuss, explain and experience as well as strengthen and foster the willingness to live them, sharing and fight for them. We will approach different European topics, including the situation of refugees, youth unemployment, tolerance, and intercultural learning. The result will be a small campaign for the fostering of European values. The participants between 18 and 25 years old come from the Netherlands, Greece, France, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Spain and Germany. The results will be presented, discussed , assessed and shared during an interregional conference with political decision-makers, representatives from adminstration, multipliers of formal and non-formal education as well as young people. The joint development of a system of digital learning badges will support the engagement with European values, their dissemination and fostering of European values.
