Our Vocational Technical School of W. Witos stood a chance of implementation and participation in the project entitled " Enriching professional skills of gastronomy teachers through the acquisition of new skills " Participants of this project are gastronomy teachers who, in the face of growing demands arising out of the school curricula and the general growth of interest in the catering field must constantly improve their professional skills. In connection with the dissemination of the idea of intercultural learning enriched with interactive techniques in accordance with the information technology techniques school has found a Spanish company based in Valencia involved in the management of European projects mobility. This company specializes in organizing internships , study tours, educational programs and seminars for young people and adult participants from all over Europe. Many years of experience of this company has encouraged our institution to take advantage of this offer to go on training courses for teachers with the elements of professional visits . These courses are designed to give opportunities for teachers to acquire new skills, knowledge of catering, teaching in accordance with the pro-European standards , beliefs intercultural skills introducing interactive techniques , teaching in accordance with the ITC and the many other short and long term benefits. The knowledge acquired during the training courses is to improve the level and quality of teaching and is to increase professional competence and understanding of their own cultural identity with the opening in the direction of tolerance and intercultural awareness.
