"Working on Work" is a Youth Exchange activity promoted by the Italian organisation Associazione Culturale C.E.T.R.A.. The target group of our project is the NEETs (Young People Not in Employment, Education or Training), especially in the range between 18 and 25 years of age. Through a mix of experiential and theoretical activities, moments of discussion, reflection and sharing, and field trips, the project aims to: - Provide an opportunity of intercultural exchange where to face and discuss the topic of youth unemployment; - Offer an overview of the working offers in differents fields, also rediscovering old professions and old traditions related to handicraft; - Learn how to ue the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ programme as a tool to enable the entrance of young people into the work field; - Learn how to recognize and value the resource of the local area; - Develop the competences of young people through experiential activities and the development of the Youthpass competences; The project will take place in Castelfiorentino, a small town in the province of Florence, Italy, from the 18th to the 25th of July 2015 (travel days included), involving 20 people between participants and group leaders from 3 different European countries (Italy, Czech Republic and Portugal).
