Our project idea aims to improve the competencies of the social workers (specifically the ones working in residential communities and the ones employed in the local municipalities) by giving them an opportunity of international mobility. The target group identified (20 social workers divided in 2 groups) will realize a short period of job-shadowing (on-the-job learning) of 2 weeks. The mobility abroad will be focused on interprofessional education and interprofessional collaborative practice in the social work system. The project will also be a great opportunity of international networking for the development of new partnerships among social workers dealing with adult clients. Thanks to the mobilities the participants will:- develope more confidence in their job and their professional skills;- know more about the social work in other european countries and realize a direct experience in other residential communities and municipalities;- improve the international dimension of their job places and share the good practices observed during the mobilities
