In the context of the concerns at European level on the development of education systems that allow the improvement of the human capital, initial training should be based on the results of learning.These are what a person knows, understands, is able to do on completion of a learning process.They express themselves through knowledge, skills, and attitudes acquired through formal learning experiences and non-formal and informal learning experiences.
The communique from Bruges states that education must be inclusive, with interested, motivated, skilled trainers who apply innovative learning methods. The system of education must be based on the results of learning, to support flexible learning journeys.
Creating an European area of education with transparent systems of qualifications allows the transfer of learning outcomes, competence recognition that facilitates transnational mobility
Strategic objectives 2011-2020 based on this communique state
• Improving the quality of education, increasing the efficiency, relevance and attractiveness of IVT, cooperation opportunities between schools for improving teachers ' competencies
• Increasing creativity, innovation through the creation of partnerships between schools for the development of modern learning methods
At national level, The Law of National Education L1/2011 and OMEN 3136/2014 regarding vocational education (3 years duration) state that the curriculum development based on the results of learning which will be introduced from 2014-2015 school year centering on education and on the development of key competences and diversification make necessary a new curricular design, innovative methods of teaching-learning-evaluation.There is a need for VET staff training so that personal, professional development of students to be in close touch with learning outcomes and labour market requirements.The new curriculum allows students to clarify their learning goals by providing them with more opportunities for active learning, ensuring progress in education, integration in the labour market.
The project objectives
• Acquiring professional competencies for students in the fields of agri-tourism and veterinary through practice internships abroad to ensure the European dimension of the curriculum for labour market integration through work-based learning(WBL)
• Acquiring techniques, tools for teaching, learning, learning outcomes assessment corresponding to the new curriculum with the purpose of students' integration on the labour market
• Acquirement of civic, social and ICT skills, in an intercultural environment
Participants
Agritourism - 10 students from 11th grade
Veterinary – 14 students from 10th grade
10 VET staff
Students activities: -acquiring competences in the field of organization of agri farms, of veterinary clinics,of pet shops, the identification of products, customs, handicrafts, local species/pet breeds, performing field specific professional tasks
VET staff activities: relating to the implementation of the new curriculum, its adaptation to the needs of the region, school, working with businesses, developing teaching materials, assistance in practical activities and classes

The impact on participants on professional level: students upgade professional, entrepreneurial skills, increased chances of employment; VET staff develop methods, tools, teaching-learning-evaluation instruments and methods making the students ready for the labour market.
Impact on participants on personal level: increasing the self-esteem of pupils/staff VET, raise the cultural awareness, working better as a team, opening to new.
Impact on the beneficiary: able to create a synergy between VET staff, students, parents alumni, in order to increase the quality of educational process, through the acquisition and upgrading of skills of VET staff and students, participants in mobility.
Locally improves the image of the school, increases employers ' satisfaction that will benefit employees who conducted internships abroad. At the regional level increases the degree of employability of the graduates. At national level, quality in education grows through professional training. At European level, it strenghtens the cooperation of international partners.
Long term, the beneficiary will have more graduates on the labour market, increase the visibility and the school's prestige; VET staff will be able to adapt to changes in the education system, students will be responsible for their own training and life long learning.
