The elaboration and implementation of breakthrough points and programmes to form a basis for the development of occupational health, the improvement of employability and – indirectly – an increase in the level of employment. The underlying research will include a large number of employees and job seekers from the border region, with the results used for the development of a specific programme of prevention and professional training Achievements: A healthy workforce is the foundation of any community, and prevention in the field of occupational health can bring significant economical benefi ts even to a region that is not burdened by unhealthy workers. The survey conducted among the working-age population on both sides of the border was the foundation for the joint development of the methodology of occupational health and for defi ning the directions of training professionals and for the elaboration of preventive programmes in the fi eld of occupational health and ergonomics.
