Common Europe Foundation connects people from different countries and cultures. We look not only to the east, but also to west, where we have our German neighbors . We want properly define the needs and opportunities for cooperation. We need support of volunteer who will come to us from Magdeburg . Why from Magdeburg? We have established good relations with the IJGD - NGO based in Magdeburg. IJGD have experienced in youth work ad they want to increase their activities in Eastern Europe. Together we quickly agreed that we want to work together. To work effectively we need help of volunteer from the European Voluntary Service. The volunteer will be selected together by IJGD and Common Europe Foundation. For 10 months, from January to the end of October 2014, the person will assist in the activities of the Common Europe in Warsaw. In particular, we look forward to strengthen our two main activities fields. We expect involvement of our volunteer in educational meetings which we organize for the participants from Poland and Ukraine. The second field of activity is the cooperation with editorial board of Eastbook.eu - Portal on Eastern Partnership. Portal already has four languages versions: English , Russian , Polish and Ukrainian. That is why we will look for a volunteer interested in new media and journalism. We will find a way to get energy & creativity of volunteer and match it with mission of our NGO. EVS project will provide benefits for all. Organizations will build mechanisms for cooperation and will hold a joint meeting. The volunteer will learn how to work in non-governmental organizations and acquire skills which will help to plan a professional carrier.
