As our project is titled "Wolf and Bear", referring to the regional symbols of each national district, the students are going to build artistic objects inspired by the national symbols of the partnership country. The students of the Alytus Vocational Training Centre will work with wood, while those of Hans Boeckler School will use different kinds of metal. Since the vocational qualifying course (BQL) in Berlin lasts 12 months, two succeeding courses will take part in the project and the vocational school of Alytus will each year take part with their first years of apprenticeship. Because of new students each year there will be new ideas and new artistic objects will be created which will be presented in bilateral exhibitions in Berlin and Alytus.Our goal is thus to stimulate the students' interest towards- international cooperation- using foreign language to cooperate- experiencing cultural diversity within the E.U.- active participation in the classroom- implementation of creative strategies in the classroom- raising their self-esteem.
