The aim of the project is to set up a TV network among the partner municipalities, namely Mako , in Hungary, Jimbolia and Sannicolau Mare, in Romania and to train local media specialists.Within the project, 18 documentary films and 6 talk shows are developed and broadcasted by local TV stations, in order to allow the citizens of the cross-border area to be acquainted with each other’s lives and specific environment. The programs present local, historical and folk traditions, artistic aspects, sports and other issues of interest in the area, related to equal opportunities and sustainable development. The general objective of the project is the configuration of effective relations between the people of the cross-border area and the civil organizations. Specific objectives are the following: 1. Making films on both sides of the border and studio-talk shows in Makó, with subtitles in both languages, on cross-border topics 2. Organizing workshops for the project partners in order to facilitate the exchange of experience, and continuous development; 3. Providing publicity The target groups of the project are the people living in this cross-border area. In Romania, about 10.000 households that mean more than 22.000 spectators (~8.000 viewers from the Jimbolia area, and ~14.000 viewers from the Sannicolau Mare area, out of which 10.000 via cable television and 4.000 via the Internet online), and from the Hungarian side, approximately 52.000 viewer
