WESTHOEK WITHOUT BORDERS

The Flemish and French Westhoek have been collaborating for many years in terms of tourism. However, as the cross-border cooperation was not always adequate in the touristic sector, the partners decided to develop a more sustainable structure. To ensure a sustained economic development of the touristic sector, the partners choose to make the Westhoek a strong cross-border brand and communicate accordingly.This project specifically makes it possible to further exploit the mutual cooperation between both regions, highlight the Flemish heritage, enhance visitor experience, bridge the gap between the public and private sector and to stimulate multilingualism.
