The WEM project is designed to consolidate a network of partners interested in promoting sandwich schemes at European level. To do this the partners (predominantly members of ENETRAC, the European Network for Education, Training and Consultancy) will develop a standardised certified procedure for placements, plus a monitoring and evaluation system.The project's results will be: a procedure for preparing, managing, monitoring and evaluating placements; a project Internet site with a database of placement possibilities in Europe; and a CD-ROM with examples of good practice.The project will target everyone wishing to start a sandwich scheme, tutors in training bodies and businesses.The project's expected results include a final conference and five study seminars for specialists in the field.
