„Weimarer Dreieck - Europa 2030: Schaffen wir das?“

The international Youth Exchange „Weimar Triangle – Europe 2030: Can we do it?” takes place in the frame of the 25th centenary of the Weimar triangle, which will be celebrated by the visit and presentation of the exchange´s results among the ministers for foreign affairs on 28.08.2016 in Weimar; Jean-Marc Ayrault (France), Witold Waszczykowski (Poland) and Frank-Walter Steinmeier (Germany). Main goals of the project are the development of a democratic everyday life culture through strengthening the civic competences, sharpening the ability to judge and increasing the motivation among the youth for an active sharpening of civil society. The planned workshops about the themes “nationalism & populism”, “values”, “spheres of life & ideas about future” and its “processing” within the art workshops like “media workshop”, “theatre & performance” as well as “art in public spaces (writing & design)” are the core activities of the project. Within these workshops, the participants are dealing with the main themes of the exchange. The mutual presentation of results in the frame of the meeting between the ministers for foreign affairs on 28.08.2016 in Weimar will form the closing of the exchange. The exchange between youngsters from Italy, Poland, France and Germany takes place from 23.-29.08.2016 under the roof of the European Youth Education and Meeting Centre (EJBW) in cooperation with project partners from Weimar, supported by the Staatskanzlei Thüringen, the Sparkasse Mittelthüringen and the program Erasmus+ / Youth in Action.
