We love/live environment is a non-formal, creative and interactive residential trilateral youth exchange project that aims to explore and develop new intercultural partnerships through arts activities related to environment and sustainability.We want to carry out this project because it is part of our strategy of sustainability, responsibility and inclusion in favour of our village and its community. And of our commitment for the promotion of a sustainable social, cultural and economic growth focusing on culture, environment and people. In particular on young generations. Hence, through this project we want to give our young citizens a voice and a power to express their choice. And we want support them to live a significant experience of intercultural dialogue trough discovering and learning about people and culture of other Countries. In their home village, with peers coming from other corners of Europe. The main objective is the improvement of both individual and social dimension of participants within the framework of the following several important values and issues: youth participation, theatre, creativity, healthy lifestyle and environment along with recycling and sustainability. Such as social responsibility, civic participation, inclusion, equality, ecology. Culture and creativity will be a background theme, since we want our project to be a significant experience of intercultural dialogue through the arts. In this way, an other important objective is strengthening the European awareness trough discovering and learning culture and people of three European Countries (Portugal, Lithuania and Slovakia).The project will be held in Sardinha (Portugal) for 8 days of length (3-12 June 2016, including 2 travel days) and will involve 24 young people from 16 to 19 years old from all Countries, plus 3 group leaders/trainer/facilitators (1 each group).The method applied will be based on a learner-centred approact and on non-formal learning methods and intercultural dialogue finalized to the self-development of each participant through the enhancement, above all, of its listening and analysis skills, working and living in a multicultural team/community attitudes and of its participation, creativity and entrepreneurship. Implemented activities will be: ice-breakings, energizers and team building, theatre, drama and storytelling performances, role-playing and team games, simulation games, problem solving, educational and interactive workshops, structured debate sessions, inter-cultural workshops, brainstorming experiences, outdoor activities, video making, intercultural parties, study visits, feedback, self-evaluation and assessment sessions.The project's impact on young participants and local communities is realized when these objectives are achieved and maintained not only the immediate, but in the medium and long term. We expect that the results will impact also on the families and adults closer to the beneficiaries of the project and their peers who are unable to participate directly. Who, thanks to the echo of this exchange, will be encouraged to take part or organize one in the future. Yet the school and other local institutions, associations and all stakeholders will enjoy the positive impact of this project through the production of direct communication and through our websites. However, immediately after the completion of the project participants will be involved in sharing impressions, results and content with all citizens through press releases, seminars, open meetings and dissemination of information materials and promotional products.
