The mobility project is designed for teachers of vocational subjects at high schools. This is because these schools need to continuously implement new information about modern methods and procedures in the construction industry in their instruction. The project has been agreed upon by heads of four Czech vocational high schools focused on teaching building branches of education. Filling in the application and administration of the project is the responsibility of Střední škola strojní, stavební a dopravní Liberec (High School of Machinery, Construction and Transportation Studies in Liberec). The content, the form and the suitable period of the course in Germany were discussed with the representatives of the construction educational facility Berufsförderungswer eV Potsdam . These are the assumptions which the proposed Erasmus+ mobility project proposal is based on. The German partner provides a lot of courses accredited by the competent accreditation organization, including courses on sanation of concrete constructions. In addition to the content of the above mentioned course, the mobility also focuses on sharing the knowledge and experience in teaching students and engaging an educational facilitity in lifelong education. For the participants it is an important fact that the proposed course fulfills the conditions of lifelong education courses for teachers, and, at the same time, that the lectures will be provided by recognized professionals who work for specialized firms, universities, or in research.
The partners agreed upon the form of the course - lectures combined with excursions to specialized workplaces of the educational facilitity and constructions realized by firms in Germany in the given area.
The project is designed for sixteen teachers. The term was chosen with regard to the school year - the end of January 2015, in the duration of 1 week. The issue of teaching thematic unit rehabilitation of concrete constructions will be demonstrated in both buildings under rehabilitation and in buildings under reconstruction. Participants will be selected from four vocational high schools which are spread throughout the country. The impact of the project itself and the program Erasmus + will be very effective. Project organization and management will be discussed at the level of heads of schools during the whole project.
