PROJECT
FINISHED
The project arose from a need to check the knowledge and skills of students in a foreign environment. We want to verify that:
- Our students are able to work on a project prepared by themselves.
- Their knowledge and skills are compatible with their peers abroad.
- They can work well in a team.
- They know how to orient themselves in a foreing environment.
- They demonstrate sufficient responsability for their actions.
Students of Graphic design for media,or those students of Printing graphics, will work in this project. For each partner of the organization we plan six students and one accompanying person. The main goal is the internship production of a Czech-German-Slovak calendar, so in the production of this product will gradually participate a group of students from these three countries.
The calendar will be in a full-color format A3 . Students for the assignment will use personal computers and Macintosh placed in the classrooms. For processing designs they will use a complete software for word processing and image from Adobe - Photoshop , Illustrator and InDesign . During this work, the students will work in a team, together with the German and Slovak students. The supervisor of the whole team will be training supervisor of the School of Graphic Design(SŠMGT) . For their work they will use a digital camera that will bring themselves or they will use a camera that will be lent from the school partner.
The end of the calendar will take place in two stages - just before the final project of digital data products that will be presented at schools, and the production of a necessary number of calendars for each school. This project is scheduled to make these calendars by 1 December 2014.
Practise goals:
- Better and closer contact with German and Slovak neighbours.
- To learn to live in Europe, to know new useful things and to apply them to the typical life in the
Czech Republic, and also to get the knowledge and the skills over to the German and Slovak
partners.
- To improve the language.
- To develope their professional skills and to learn how to sell their work abroad Czech Republic.
- To learn how to work in a foreign team.
In a long term, we assume a successful project of integration of the graduates into the work process after the end of the school term, both the Czech Republic and abroad.
