Transfer VQTS Project aims to transfer and implement in Italy and 3 other European countries (Germany, Spain and Slovenia) a model for the transfer of credits and professional qualifications (VQTS Model) in the field of production engineering, designed under the Leonardo programme 2004-2006 by a group of European partners including RSO SpA (I) and 3sResearch (AT), which was the leader and that are an integral part of that project. The achievement of the objectives set out below, is closely connected, and then the application and transfer of this device in several European contexts.The model VQTS represents a potential benchmark since it provides a comprehensive methodology, tested in a specific sector, to analyse the distinctive skills of a professional profile from the organizational and functional analysis of the work.It allows the definition of learning outcomes not rigidly anchored to formal training, and conditions of transferability of skills.It defines principles and criteria for the recognition (and potentially the validation) of skills, and the delivering of credits.
