VOUCH will bring 22 volunteers from 10 sending countries in 9 hosting countries all over the world. The project empowers a wide bidirectional exchange between EU and Asia, Africa and South America. Both countries from “old” (Italy/Germany/Spain) and “new” (Latvia/Bulgaria/Romania) Europe will be involved in VOUCH helping the process of shaping and foster sense of European citizenship in a context that being so wide helps to find and appreciate the similarities among Europeans.Being European vols inside a wide EU-financed project aimed to take care of kids and youths all across the world, the they’ll be stimulated to reflect upon the role that they can play as EU citizens, their rights and responsibilities. The 22 vols will be protagonists of VOUCH and will experience what means to be active citizens without losing their national identity but adding to it a new dimension.The project will last 20 months and will touch different field: children and youth education, the fight against poverty and social inclusion. The aim of the project is to foster a more supportive, inclusive and sustainable society through volunteering, promoting youth learning, participation and mobility with particular regards to youngsters with fewer opportunities, promoting and supporting volunteering at a local, national, European and international level as a key to achieve a more inclusive and just society, support social inclusion and cohesion and fostering cooperation and partnership between small scale non-profit organizations in the youth fields or in the volunteering one.
