Participating in this programme we expect to raise skills in the pedagogical use of ICT for cross-curricular teaching and internationalisation. All in all we intent to send out one teacher. This teacher is a member of our project team "From Koblenz to Europe" which we intent to apply for in the next round of Key Action 2. Preparing the application we are starting eTwinning partnerships in order to present our project and to try and find partners. Our students will have the opportunity to contact possible partner schools and to learn about life and learning of their fellow students abroad. In addition to that our students will present their home town and the local area. Pedagogical use of ICT is quite important in order to present our home town and the local area. During History lessons we have already visited several castles. The films about these visits have already been completed with commentaries in English which were added in English lessons as well as in PC lessons. In the course of our project week there are more visits to local sight on the agenda. The information and material we are going to collect will be an important part of our application in the next round of Key Action 2. We expect to make contacts with possible partners for our project during the programme of Key Action 1 in this round. In the long run the results of this programme, i.e. the pedagogical use of ICT will be used in cross-curricular lessons in History, English and PC. Our school project and future projects will be benefitting from the programme because our students will be participating in eTwinning as well as in the presentation of our home town and region. We hope that the lessons learnt on the pedagogical use of ICT and internationalisation will make our teaching more relevant and motivating to both teachers and pupils.
