This project aims to:1. Exchange of values, experiences and lifestyles.2. The training of volunteers in the humanist therapeutic model that relies Proyecto Hombre Burgos.3. Learning the Spanish language.The project is sited in the city of Burgos (Spain) it is a medium-sized city of 175 000 inhabitants in the region of Castilla y Leon. The volunteer lives in the city center in a shared volunteers floor with four Europeans, or students more in practice; where they have the opportunity to integrate into the local community . The project has a duration of 12 months.The volunteer activity is focused on the therapeutic community that Proyecto Hombre has in this city, which holds a therapeutic process, group of people with additions and / or agencies, around 40 aged between 21 and 50 years . Volunteers live in this community for five hours a day, participating in therapeutic activities, entertainment and leisure, occupational activities and accompany them on trips around the city for personal, such as doctor visits, tried and personal affairs activities.The working method is based on humanistic therapies (motivation Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Gestalt therapy, etc.). With these methods, the volunteer has the opportunity to know our work through some regular classes during the activity, volunteers also have the option of meeting other working areas of our organization, which works with adolescents in a program of prevention, treatment ambulatory, family and other programs focused on the area of harm reduction (methadone), all in the area of additions or outbuildings.
