This project aims to: 1. Experience sharing values and lifestyles 2. The training of volunteers in the humanistic therapeutic model in which the program is based Proyecto Hombre therapeutic Burgos. 3. Learning the Spanish language. The project is in the city of Burgos (Spain) is a medium sized city of 175,000 inhabitants in the region of Castilla y Leon. The volunteer lives in the city center in an apartment shared by four more, European volunteers or students practice, where they have the opportunity to integrate into the local community. The project has a duration of 12 months. The volunteer activity is focused on the Proyecto Hombre therapeutic community Burgos has in this town, which performs a therapeutic process, group of people with additions and / or dependencies. About 40 and aged between 21 to 50 years, volunteers live in this community for four hours a day, participating in therapeutic activities, entertainment and leisure, occupational activities and accompany them on trips around the city for people issues such as medical visits, tried and personal items. The working method is based on humanistic therapies (Motivational Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, etc..). With these methods the volunteer has the opportunity to meet our working through some regular classes throughout the activity, the volunteer also has the option to meet other areas of work of our organization, working with adolescents in a prevention program, outpatient treatment, with family and other programs focused on the area of harm reduction (methadone treatment), all in the area of additions or outbuildings.
