The project ?VOLUNTEERS UNITED? took place in Youth Open Centre ?JACis? in R?zekne, Latvia. It was an EVS host project. Main themes for the activities were creativity and culture, youth work and healthy lifestyle. The goal of the project was to popularize EVS projects among youngsters and support youth initiative and active participation. Duration of the project was 15 months. In total 4 volunteers from France, Romania and Germany participated in the project. Main activities of the project were creative workshops, outdoor activities, cooking workshops, training seminar ?Esi br?vpr?t?gais 2015?, expedition with kayaks and different activities that were focused on the promotion of the EVS and youth initiatives manifestation support. Working methods: group work, outdoor activities, thematic and creative workshops, national days, orientation activities, discussions, team-building and ice-breaking activities, simulation games, living library, islands of 8 competences, brainstorming, learning from experience, presentations.
